£7.50
sold out

Botanical inks can be bought alongside modifiers to open you to an endless world of colour possibilities.

Iron is typically used to darken or ‘sadden’ colours - mixed with higher tanin inks can make almost black inks ( Oak gall, black walnut hull, Eucalyptus) .

Note that Iron can separate pigment from water and can course interesting textural effects when adding too much - a little goes a long way.

We’ve made high concentrated liquid modifiers for you to help you with your creativity and curiosity.

Modifiers are of a high concentration so its best to use a little to start with and work your way up to a 1:1 ratio.

Droppers are brilliant at getting more precise measurements and prevent your paint brushes and nibs from getting damaged/ tarnished.

Please note

Shake well before using.

Iron and copper can also be carossive to other metals and cause rust - its best to keep a clean work area and wash brushes frequently.

Although every effort has been made to ensure consistency between batches colours and strengths may differ from one batch to another
